YOUR MISSION

As a working student in the field of CO₂ Trading & Tokenization of Sustainable Assets, you will support our team at the interface between customer requirements and the development of prototypes and applications for the tokenization of local and international pollution rights, including but not limited to CO₂ trading.

 

 

YOUR TASKS

• Work closely with our development and sales teams to design and conceptualize customer and application scenarios in environmental management for international projects outside Europe.
• Support the development and sales of blockchain solutions for tokenized pollution rights.
• Document processes and regulations for international environmental projects.
• Prepare sales support presentations.
• Assist in the analysis and accounting of pollution similar to CO₂ emissions (Scope 1–3).
• Support the preparation of international emissions certificate purchases, following the EU-ETS framework.
• Research and compile information on climate strategies, carbon pricing, and emissions trading systems.
• Contribute to internal sustainability projects, such as CO₂ reduction strategies.

 

 

YOUR PROFILE

• You are currently enrolled in a business-related degree program with an ecological focus, such as Environmental Economics, Sustainability Management, Economics, Energy Law, Environmental Engineering, or a comparable field.
• You are interested in climate policy, emissions trading, and sustainability strategies.
• You possess strong analytical and conceptual skills, along with an affinity for innovative technologies.
• You have gained initial practical experience in CO₂ accounting / ESG / Corporate Carbon Footprinting.
• You have a basic understanding of how asset tokenization works.
• You bring a high level of motivation, willingness to learn, and teamwork skills, and you are capable of working independently and collaboratively.
• You speak fluent English and ideally German.
• You are proficient in using common MS Office products and have excellent presentation skills for customer meetings.

Working Hours: 10–20 hours per week
Contract Type: Working student contract (according to § 21 Abs. 3 BAFöG)

 

 

The position can generally be performed remotely; however, ideally, you are based in Munich.
